enzymes work only at optimum temperature that is 25-30 degree centigrade....

actually an enzyme needs an optimum temperature around 25 degrees centigrade to apply its max rate of metabolism and this is for only some enzymes not all so when you decrease the temperature the activity decreases due to decrease in enzymes activity this is not only for enzymes but also for any other living organisms
