The formula to find det(kA) is k to the power n [kn] det of A i.e [Kn det(A)]

u have mentioned A is a third order matrix, the constant k is multiplied throughout the matrix, in determinant the constant in each row and column can be taken out of the determinant

because we can take k common 3 times fron the det(A) so it becomes k*k*k*det(A) =k raise to power 3 * det(A)
