H2 HCl 1 mole 2 mole 22.4 litre 2 x 22.4 litre x litre 20 litre x=20 x 22.4/2 x 22.4 =10 litres

here one part of hydrogen combines with one part of chlorine and gives two parts of HCL so if HCL is 20 litres H2 will be 10 litres..

As the number of moles of hydrogen and chlorine are same, to form 20l of HCl,10l of hydrogen will be required.

h2+c2, this means h&c are in 1:1 proposition so to produce 20 ltrs we need 10 ltrs of h&10 ltrs of c
