delta(t) = 1 only on t = 0 and at that time cos(0) = 1 (agreed). But integration of cos(t) = sin(t) where sin(0) = 0. hence, the answer should be 0. why 1?

because integral(delta(t)*f(t))=f(0) so directly we can take cos(0)
