Use v = f x λ. f = v x λ = [3.0 × 〖10〗^8 m/sec] x λ Given frequency is 〖10〗^14Hz But For glass n = 1.50. C/(V₁) = 1.5hence V₁ = 2 × 〖10〗^8 m/sec Hence velocity becomes halved i.e., 2 × 〖10〗^8 m/sec But the frequency remains unchanged. Therefore the wavelength will change. 〖10〗^14Hz x λ = 2 × 〖10〗^8 m/sec So, we can find the wavelength λ = 2µm.
