Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Entrance Exam conduct own entrance test (COMEDK Entrance Exam) every year for admission to Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses in Professional Colleges within the State of Karnataka in respect of the seats falling to the share of the State Government. The COMEDK Entrance Exam will be conducted in the month of Every Year May. This test will be conducted for admission in COMEDK member institutions only. The score will be valid for 1 year only.

Every year a minimum score is decided by the controlling bodies of the exam
The minimum score is called as COMEDK Entrance Exam Cutoff Marks. The candidates who score above this cutoff will be included in the merit list.
General: 50%
General OPH: 45%
COMEDK Entrance Exam Cutoff for OBC/SC/ST: 40%
The candidates have to score at least the above specified marks to be included in the merit list
Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government. Candidates must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks.
He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course.
Diploma Candidates are not eligible to take COMEDK entrance test.
Note: Candidates seeking B. Arch seats should submit separate application form along with a DD of Rs. 500/- in favour of COMEDK.

The Transaction Charges as applicable Rs.900 for the students applying for B.E. only and Rs. 1100/- for the candidates who are applying for both the tests (MBBS/BDS and B.E.). Payment through Computer generated Challan Form in any branch of State Bank of India.
The application form is available in the COMEDK Entrance Exam website. The Students can register for the exam through the online mode and take the print out of the filled form and send to the admission office along with the Demand Draft of Rs.900 for the students applying for B.E. only and Rs. 1100/- for the candidates who are applying for both the tests (MBBS/BDS and B.E.) in COMEDK .
COMEDK Entrance Exam application form is submitted, a unique application number will be assigned to every candidate. After ensuring that all the details are right, candidates can take the print out of the Online Application Form and Online Date of Birth Certificate/Identity Proof.Candidates should stick a passport sized photograph of not more than 6 months old.

Candidates are advised to visit the COMEDK Entrance Exam website regularly to watch the RED LIST. This list will comprise the INCOMPLETE Application forms, will be rejected if they don’t resolve the pending issues till the prescribed date.
Candidates of COMEDK will be issued a Test Admission Ticket (TAT) for identification which they have to bring on COMEDK exam day. These TAT will be sent via Speed Post at address mentioned by the candidate on the application form. In case any candidate does not receive the TAT, he/she should visit the official site of COMEDK or send an e-mail regarding the non-reception
