How AIIMS (MBBS) score is Calculated ?

minimum cutoff marks in the MBBS Entrance Examination 50% General Catagory, 45% OBC, 40% SC/ST. merit of two or more candidates in the same category obtaining equal marks in the competitive entrance examination will be determined in order of preference as under: (a) Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology in the entrance examination. (b) Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the entrance examination. (c) Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics in the entrance examination. (d) Candidates older in age to be preferred.

 

Who writes it ?

He/She should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination of a recognised University/Board of any Indian State with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY.
