All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is Now Changed as JEE(Main) from this year. It is one of most competitive engineering entrance exams in India. From this students of all states aiming to get admission in national level institutes like NITs, IIITs and other prominent universities and institutions.The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
Every year a higher number of students from all over(in india) the country participate in this exam to get admission in the various reputed NIT’s and state level institutes. Last time(AIEEE 2012) nearly 9 lakhs students appeared for AIEEE exam.

Note- If a candidate has passed Class 12th/ Other qualifying examination from one state but appeared for improvement from another state, his/her state code of eligibility will be from where he/she has originally passed Class 12th/ Other qualifying examination and not the state from where he/she has appeared for improvement
